The Hoix – Meat-Eating Monster

The Hoix was a meat-eating creature from outer space. The Tenth Doctor and Rose managed to fend off a Hoix with a piece of meat, which allowed Elton Pope to escape to safety (Love & Monsters). Torchwood member Owen Harper later managed to lure a stupid Hoix in a nuclear power station to a position where he could tranquillise it (Torchwood: Exit Wounds). A Hoix appears alongside a menagerie of other aliens and enemies that have assembled to imprison the Eleventh Doctor inside the Pandorica (The Pandorica Opens).
