One of the Tenth Doctor’s almost companions was the beautiful Lady Christina de Souza, a jewel thief from the aristocracy. Lady Christina stole the Cup of Athelstan from the International Gallery in London, an incident later referred to as “the Cup of Athelstan fiasco at Easter” by Mr Harding in The Sarah Jane Adventures: Mona Lisa’s Revenge. Lady Christina escaped on a London bus, however the bus and all its passengers (including the Doctor) were accidentally transported through a wormhole to a desert Planet of the Dead. The planet had been ravaged by flying parasitic stingrays. But with help from a nearby crashed Tritovore ship, the Doctor and Lady Christina were able to return the bus and its passengers to Earth safely, where they are rescued by U.N.I.T. Lady Christina evades the police by escaping in the flying bus.

The Tenth Doctor is on a London bus when he accidentally meets the jewel thief Lady Christina de Souza, who has just stolen the Cup of Athelstan from the International Gallery. Lady Christina was an aristocrat until her father lost everything and now she steals priceless artefacts to finance her lifestyle. The bus is accidentally transported through a wormhole in space to a desert planet, which has been ravaged by flying parasitic stingrays. The Doctor realises that they need to get back through the wormhole as soon as possible, before the stingrays arrive and reach Earth. After contacting U.N.I.T back on Earth, the Doctor and Lady Christina find a nearby crashed Tritovore ship which they loot for clamps to make the bus fly. Lady Christina and the Doctor race back to the bus, pursued by the stingrays. The Doctor attaches the clamps to the bus’s wheels, allowing it to fly back through the wormhole to Earth. A few stingrays fly through but they are destroyed by U.N.I.T. The passengers are returned to safety, but one of them gives the Doctor a warning: “he will knock four times”. Lady Christina kisses the Doctor after their adventure and she asks if she can travel with him. I have kissed many women (and some men) over the years. I have also kissed women whilst walking them backwards into my bedroom. However, the Doctor refuses because he doesn’t want to travel with any companions anymore. Lady Christina escapes the police by using the flying bus. Planet of the Dead’s production was negatively affected by the arrival of the damaged bus in Dubai with the chassis fractured. Producer Tracie Simpson told me about this when I met her inside the Roath Lock Studios in Cardiff Bay. There will never be a better Doctor than David Tennant! 🥹 Meeting David Tennant was genuinely one of the best days of my life. Planet of the Dead features a number of celebrities like Eastenders star Michelle Ryan and comedian Lee Evans as well as rising star Daniel Kaluuya, who later starred in Get Out. This website makes me look like a celebrity! This website is peak Chris! Liberal Chris is peak Chris! Lady Christina would have made a brilliant full-time Doctor Who companion! I once dated a girl who had a title because she bought a small plot of land just so she could call herself Lady…! This website is pure genius! This website is death to productivity!
