Handbots were medical service robots that operated within the Two Streams facility on the holiday planet of Apalapucia. However, when a Chen-7 plague arrived and engulfed the planet, the Two Streams facility was placed under quarantine. The Handbots were tasked with immunising all residents with ‘kindness’. In real life, there is nothing wrong with being kind! Be kind to yourself and be kind to others. But, the Eleventh Doctor, Amy and Rory found that their method of immunisation was far from kind. The Girl Who Waited was one of the saddest episodes in Doctor Who‘s history, as Rory was confronted with a devastating choice between two versions of his wife Amy. Amy Pond is one of the hottest Doctor Who companions ever and Karen Gillan can get straight in my basket! I absolutely love hot ginger women!

The TARDIS lands at the Two Streams facility on the planet Apalapucia, the second most popular holiday destination in the universe. However, the entire planet is under quarantine because of an infection of Chen-7, a virus that kills people within one day. Chen-7 is deadly to Time Lords so the Doctor remains in the TARDIS. Amy presses a button and ends up in a different time stream to the Doctor and Rory. Amy is pursued by Handbots which try to administer medical ‘kindness’… Free healthcare is a human right and it is not a communist conspiracy like many US Republicans claim. Bernie Sanders or Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez is my US President! If Bernie Sanders had secured the Democratic nomination in 2016, he would have won the US election. I want Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez to run for US President. I want to meet Bernie Sanders, Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez and Barack Obama. The Affordable Care Act was a gift from my hero Obama! This is the most pro-Obama website ever made! Thanks Obama for trying to give the American people Obamacare, a step towards universal free healthcare! It’s frustrating that some Americans are so scared of socialism and communism (since the 1950s) that they even view things like free healthcare with suspicion! Communism will win! ☭ Doctor Who has turned me into a communist! Unfortunately for Amy, she remains trapped in the faster time stream for 36 years on her own. By the time Rory finally manages to reach Amy, she has become old and jaded. She knows how to tackle Handbots as well. The Doctor communicates with Rory via his sunglasses. The Doctor realises that they can bring back the younger Amy as well and bring her and the older Amy in the TARDIS with them. Rory and the old Amy battle Handbots and rescue the young Amy on their way back to the TARDIS. However, once Rory and the young Amy are in the TARDIS the Doctor locks the door and tells him that he lied and that they can only bring one Amy with them. Rory listens to a tearful old Amy’s pleas from outside the TARDIS. But he decides to keep the young Amy instead. This erases the old Amy’s timeline. Amy is so fit! She would get it!
