My Favourite Documentaries

There are many TV documentaries that I have loved over the years, encompassing all different subjects and aimed at various ages. Many of these documentaries were filmed all over the world, in various different countries. I have visited many countries across the globe myself over the years. I have lived in the UK for most of my life but I also lived in Tokyo, Japan for two years (2005-2007) when I was a child because of my dad’s job (and no, unfortunately I can’t speak Japanese!). I have also worked in the USA for two summers (2015-2016) when I did Camp America in Maine years ago and I volunteered as a manual labourer to build a school in Ghana, Africa when I was a teenager (2011). I want to visit more new countries. But I never want to go back to the USA or Russia again because I hate America and Russia! Although, I have had (Republican and Democrat) American and Russian girlfriends. I also possess a TEFL qualification. I have been lucky to have done so much travelling when I was young given the fact that my parents aren’t rich. I am a citizen of the world! Here is a map showing all of the countries that I have visited so far in my life (mostly on holiday):

And now, here is a selection of my favourite TV documentaries, presented in no particular order (this is not a ranking).

About Chris Olsen's TARDIS

I am an aspiring television producer, screenwriter and showrunner. I became a childhood fan of the popular BBC TV series Doctor Who at the age of 10, when my parents introduced me to the show upon its return in 2005. I am interested in all things sci-fi, fantasy and geeky, but Doctor Who takes the crown above all else. This website will detail my reviews of various episodes of Doctor Who from throughout its 60-year history. It will also contain content relating to other franchises that I grew up with as a kid, such as Star Wars and Harry Potter.
